Many thanks to the Devon Places to Go! Things to Do! Fund and The Bideford Bridge Trust who have funded our social groups in Bideford and Barnstaple.

Our social groups plug the gap between students staying at home and larger youth events. They're an ideal way to socialise if you've been out of the loop with your peers for a while and you're looking to make connections with others with similar experiences and interests. If you're feeling shy we will make sure you feel at home. We welcome pre-visits so you can get to know us at your own pace. 

Most of the young people who join our groups face challenges in their lives. Some have experienced anxiety or low mood, some are neurodivergent, some are not attending school, some live away from their family, some have other experiences that have made finding the right people to be around more difficult. We meet young people just like you every day, and we are lucky to receive funding from our community to bring you together in small, welcoming groups with supportive and understanding mentors. We understand how joining a group for the first time can feel because we've all been there too!

If you like the idea of finding others to socialise with but don't see anything appealing in our groups, please let us know what kind of session you'd like. Our favourite thing is bringing like-minded people together and your ideas help us to do that. 🙌
