Freya's Story
Freya’s anxiety had stopped her from attending school yet she still wanted success at her core GCSEs.
With support from our tutors she’s covered the syllabus for English Language, Literature, Science and Maths and is currently sitting her GCSEs. We’ve worked with her school’s attendance officer and her family to make continuing an education a possibility despite considerable mental health barriers.
We’re looking forward to results in August but we already know she’s a success, just for her commitment to herself and her education and her indomitable resilience!
Jonathan's Story
Jonathan is in Year 6, has an ASD diagnosis and has been struggling to attend school. He’s also in the process of evidence gathering towards an EHC plan.
Our tutors have stepped in to provide a very individualised home tuition plan that’s included comprehensive lesson reports that are forming the basis for the EHC evidence.
Working in collaboration with the school, a tutor and a mentor, we’re now preparing Jonathan for a transistion to a specialist provision at some time in the Autumn term.

Relational Learning at Our Core
A relational learning approach and easy communication is all important to those students who need our packages.
Our mentor will work with a student to discover their perception of learning. They’ll discuss the student’s thoughts with the rest of their tuition team and build a shared plan where we can really support them in developing relationships, boundaries, conflict resolution and change.
Solutions Designed Around Your Students
Health and Medical Needs
We support children with mental health and medical needs who need to work on a reduced timetable. We work in collaboration with schools to organise a schedule that works for schools, students and families.
At Risk of Exclusion
We work with students at risk of exclusion as part of your graduated response. This could mean providing home tuition, relational learning plans, mentoring or evidence gathering for an EHC Plan.
English as an Additional Language
We provide tutors to work in local schools to deliver English as an Additional Language lessons to children with refugee status. Our flexible packages can build around your available budget.
School Transition
We support students who might find it tricky to transition between schools: primary to secondary, Child In Care, returning permanent exclusions and returning long term absence.
Unmet SEND Needs
We can offer individualised learning to SEND students with unmet needs working on reduced timetables and can support children in school, home and community settings.
Mentoring & Wellbeing
Our mentors can help students reset their thinking and learning behaviours with a relational learning plan, coaching and wellbeing practices.
