The Garden Blog
When we first started in the garden this is what it looked like. There where tons of weeds to clear before we started. Next on the list we had to go to BJ's to get pots, seeds, gardening trowels, compost. We planted mint, carrot, cucumber, Dwarf French beans, sweet peas. We also bought some lemon balm, lemon mint and lavender to make a sensory garden.

Middle Of June Update
We have replanted the cucumbers because they were unhappy in the small containers. We have killed off some Carrots so some have space to get bigger. They were very bitter in taste as they are young. Some of the Dwarf beans were planted out. We provided bamboo for the sweet peas to climb up.

End of June
The size of the Carrots have gotten chunkier they taste sweet.
The sweet peas have bloomed nicely and smell floral. We have noticed the different types have their own smell. We have also planted some more Carrots.

The birds are so greedy, they ate a 1kg bag of bird feed in about a week. The birds we’ve seen are sparrows, finches, doves, pigeons.
